As a young boy in Chicago Illinois, Ken Traylor began his musical journey, while being captivated by the Motown sound.

Coming from a large family, Ken enjoyed a captive audience and developed a love of performing that remains today.  He began performing on a semi-professional basis at the ripe age of fifteen, when he was the lead singer in numerous R & B bands.

In 1976, Ken relocated to Southern California, where he continued to follow his dream.  As of late, he was the lead singer for Matrix, out of Orange County, and on occasion has sung with the great Derek Bordeaux.

Ken has performed at the following Orange County locations:

• Opah Restaurant in Aliso Viejo and in Rancho Santa Margarita,
• Ling and Louie’s in the Irvine Spectrum, and
• Valentina Ristorante Italiano in Mission Viejo.

He also has performed at private parties, such as weddings, birthdays, corporate Christmas functions, and with a few Orange County local groups.  As such, Ken has become an artist in great demand.
